TOTY cards drop in waves: attackers (Fri), midfield (Mon), defence (Wed), full squad (Fri). Extremely volatile, and the low for the whole market usually lands somewhere between Sunday and Wednesday.
Buy what you plan to sell in the rebound: meta golds 87–90, Icons, Heroes. Only buy TOTY cards themselves at the end of the week, once the full squad is in packs.
What actually worked in this phase
From the FC 26 season, every card from 5,000 coins up, bought and sold again after 7 days, after the 5 % EA tax. Buying at random in this phase returned +3.7 % on average. The percentages below were tested on cards that were not used to find the patterns.
