The biggest predictable crash of the season. Everyone sells to have coins for TOTY packs and cards. Icons and highly rated meta cards lose 20–35 %.
What to do
Sit on coins. First buys on TOTY Friday evening at the earliest, main buys over the weekend and on Monday.
What actually worked in this phase
From the FC 26 season, every card from 5,000 coins up, bought and sold again after 7 days, after the 5 % EA tax. Buying at random in this phase returned -7.3 % on average. The percentages below were tested on cards that were not used to find the patterns.
