This page shows how the focus list is built, using real data: which card, why it is on the list, and what a leak means for the price. It is deliberately cut short.
These are not today's signals
The selection below comes from the launch phase: while there are no FC 27 prices, there are no measured buy and sell signals either. What you see here comes from the official ratings and attributes and from the leaks captured so far, not from price movement.
Once the market is running, the real list is rebuilt every day from the previous day's prices, the season phase, the weekday and the leaks. It then carries entry price, expected move and selling window. This sample page stays as it is.

Every card on the list carries the reason it is there. No buy call without a sentence behind it. Below is a slice of the launch selection.

Data behind it: Official FC 27 ratings and attributes from the fut.gg database, plus the gameplay changes in the EA Pitch Notes. No price data, because there is none before the market opens. Which cards actually turn out to be meta is decided in the finished game. Before launch nobody has played the retail build in public.

Before the market opens, leaks are the only source that says anything about prices. The entry below is real and comes from the running collection: the report, how solid it is, and underneath it which cards should move, and by how much.
Mbappé in the first promo: gold leaves packs for a week from 25 Sep
In the launch pitch notes discussion Mbappé is named as part of the first promo. His gold card would then be unpackable for about a week from 25 September.
