Mbappé in the first promo: gold leaves packs for a week from 25 Sep
In the launch pitch notes discussion Mbappé is named as part of the first promo. His gold card would then be unpackable for about a week from 25 September.

A strong centre back is given away for free
Leaks say EA hands out a centre back for free early on, which the creator values at roughly 400,000 coins if it were tradeable. Alongside that there are leaks about squad foundation players and gold cards with five-star skills and weak foot.

Web app start: welcome back packs and first objectives
When the web app opens there are welcome back packs and the first objectives. The creator advises collecting coins through objectives early rather than buying straight away.

Season 1 is Ones to Watch, but the cards are not in packs
Leaks say season one is called Ones to Watch, but the cards come only via objectives, the season pass and SBCs, and they are untradeable. A second live promo, Destined for Glory, runs alongside it and its cards are in packs.

The web app opens on Wednesday 16 September, the EA Play trial on 17 September at 1pm UK, full early access on 18 September and release on 25 September. The content roadmap puts Future Stars among the first promos rather than after TOTY.

FIFAUTeam points to an upcoming Ones to Watch event in FC 27, without a player list or a confirmed date. OTW promos typically cover players who moved in the summer, whose gold cards come under pressure beforehand, while the market dips slightly on promo release.
